Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Mantus alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Krimmon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Krimmon was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
