Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Kaladan's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Kaladan hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Taklinn will drive conversation. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Taklinn has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Krimp will drive conversation. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Krimp alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and revenge

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He bought a longsword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and wants to work out more often
