History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hamil grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hamil. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
