When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Heian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
