Through the years after Norman was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Norman's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.
