History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
