Personality: He is a Carpenter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carpenter for hire.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but he was a colossal failure. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
