Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: Standing 5'4", this man tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has dark red hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Tethren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Tethren was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He has worked as a Ruler like his father before him.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Sage business.

History: Azzakh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a barrister again

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is physically well-built. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and money/treasure
