History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theriatis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears dull pastel sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed scythe, just in case. His gray fur is unkempt and raggedy. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Flask lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a brown coat over a blue low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon his head. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's in love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
