Personality: Valorean hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Valorean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Shoemaker; and wants his loneliness to end
