History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Elaim and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. One day when Nordak was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead.
