History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Rurik was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Hoglik was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
