Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Priest business.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dain. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
