History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears suspenders and yellow workpants. His shirt is violet, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length green crest. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kaladan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Kaladan hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When Kaladan reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a grey costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gormogord embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Gormogord was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gormogord's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge
