History: He was raised in a desert tribe. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Melech was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Cairn was born the youngest of three triplets. Cairn was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to unite with his sister
