He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Glassblower for hire.
