Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Kûga took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
