However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Gubu was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gubu's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: He was born in a small desert village. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barkeep. He tends to his Barkeep job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Ar-Kaius and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
