Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Alberich and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Alberich discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Alberich fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
