His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heskan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the east. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he's looking for his big break

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
