His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
