History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Wiggens embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
