This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shipwright. The war was a terrible time for him, and Baern does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Baern reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Tod never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
