History: He was born in a small desert village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Emerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
