History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a Hunter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Alex was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Salasar was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cook. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a white coat with blue slacks. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
