Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Whurbin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Jade wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jade fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels threatened by others

History: Mordai lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
