It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair is braided into rings. He is baby faced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Gimble was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gimble fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Mantus enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
