History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

His white eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Modean grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Modean was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Modean's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His brass crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are red and catlike.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This tall, slender man prefers to wear flannel. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Dimble lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a bounty hunter and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Quarethon hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Knight and found it very stressful. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is unsatisfied with his job
