History: Shamash was born with his father's beautiful face. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: He stands about 6'4" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is chestnut and curly. His eyes are white.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. He's also a talented Adventurer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 5'9". He wears an entirely blue suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes, and his gloved hand is found clutching a crossbow. His red hair is lengthy. His ears are large.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Zephan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
