History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Hamil learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
