Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Jak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Igden was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Trym was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.
