Hupe was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adam. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
