History: Born in the north to a Knight, Emerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a blue tunic with pastel highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed blue hat.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has worked as a Engraver like his father before him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Stannor was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Knight.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born in the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
