History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Grom never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now mingles about in high society.
