History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
