History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Peren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears black leather gloves, a black jacket, and tight pants. He has wavy brown hair. He has violet eyes and a black hat with a grey feather.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Gilbert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has decided he is irredeemable
