History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
