His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

History: Pallabar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. After coming to the age of reason, Pallabar took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Fibblestib does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
