He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.

His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Thervan studied abroad. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new bellfounder responsibilities is difficult
