History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Abad hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Arannis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Arannis was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He struck the Laborer job and began his own company from there.
