History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. During his travels, Arannis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Arannis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Arannis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dadalan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love
