History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Raer liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Raymond has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
