He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears skinny pants and wears a tan and white robe with the hood down. He has done his best to style his white hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
