When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Thorpe was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Thorpe and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
