Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oppleby's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Doctor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
