His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
