History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Rurik took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the south to a Glassblower, Fax learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
