History: Az-Rans was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Az-Rans was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Az-Rans decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He uses divination through singing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Architect.

History: Arjhan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jak embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Jak was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Jak was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and wants his loneliness to end
