He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His brass crest has been sun bleached extensively. He has gleaming, smiling red eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Shamash reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shamash never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
