Description: 3'8" and muscular, this northern man wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a greatsword on his belt. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bilbron was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Heian is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a tan shirt, with a brown mid length shorts with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His long orange fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady yellow eyes.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Xappan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: An older man who is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Einkil enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west to a Unemployed, Einkil learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
